Inspired by their Ghanaian roots, EJU ɔrganix was developed by three business-minded curators—Gillian Boakye-Yiadom, Osei Kweku and Kwabena A. Denkyi—looking to heal and rejuvenate consumers’ mind, body, and soul with natural, innovative skincare products the public never knew they needed.

The idea began with Gillian, a master cosmetologist committed to living a holistic lifestyle and providing the masses with organic, 100% natural beauty and skincare products to make them glow. As a child, Gillian remembers often being complimented on her rich and luminous skin but noticed that flattery dwindled by time she finished high school. During that time, a young Gillian found herself experimenting with various trending beauty products that seemed to do more damage than good. Emboldened to educate herself on how to undo the harm she’d caused her skin, Gillian attended the Aveda Institute where she learned about the essence of plant-based beauty and self-care. As a result, the concept for EJU ɔrganix was born.

With backgrounds in product management and development, brand enlightenment, and media relations, Osei and Kwabena helped bring EJU ɔrganix to life by shaping and developing the types of organic products that felt in line with Gillian’s vision. Together, they have been dedicated to creating brand awareness, and educating consumers about the benefits of using high quality, raw organic Shea Butter and CBD without any synthetic additives.

This skin-enhancing collection of products includes Shea Butter for general beauty, hair, and skincare, and CBD-infused Shea Butter for pain management and skin restoration.

The team explains their unique blend of Shea Butter infused with CBD creates a soothing and relaxed feeling while helping fight inflammation, pain, and muscle discomfort. These products fill an important void for those looking for alternative pain management solutions and ways to feel naturally rejuvenated through the mind, body, and soul.

As EJU ɔrganix continues to grow, Gillian, Kwabena, and Osei look to launch the EJU Spa & Wellness Center, a health center focused on offering consumers a holistic lifestyle space and access to EJU products. Additionally, the brand’s EJU Foundation plans to immerse itself in various communities—first, by giving back to female-led communities responsible for the production of Shea Butter in Northern Ghana, and second, by working with the Clean Cook Alliance, run by Project GAIA, to introduce their Clean Cook initiative, which will aid economically disadvantaged individuals and those with limited access to energy sources with alternative, energy-efficient cooking techniques.

And just in case that’s not enough to keep them busy, this business trio also aims to branch off as an organic production and packaging company in the future.

Experience Gillian, Osei, and Kwabena’s rich Ghanaian culture through this collection of skin healing products and indulge in EJU ɔrganix as they continue performing the unusual in skincare.

The current products available include both 1-oz and 4-oz bottles of Shea Butter with CBD Infusion.
